CALIFORNIA LIGHTNING SPRINT CARS CELEBRATING
JULY 4TH AT THE PAS!
(Torrance, CA, July 3, 2014)
The California Lightning Sprint Car Series
returns to its home track, Perris Auto Speedway.,
tomorrow night, July 4th, to celebrate Independence
Day with a giant night of sprint car racing and a
fireworks spectacular. Joining the CLS on the racing
side of the program will be the USAC/CRA Sprint Cars,
PAS Senior Sprints and the PAS Young Gun Sprint Cars.
At intermission, the City of Perris and Budweiser will
present the biggest and best fireworks sky concert in
Riverside County. Spectator gates will open at 4:00
PM, with racing at 7:00. The fireworks will brighten
the night sky at approximately 9:00 PM.....(more).
MICHNOWICZ SCORES FOURTH CALIFORNIA LIGHTNING
SPRINT CAR WIN 0F 2014!

2014) Lomita, California’s Bobby Michnowicz
scored his series leading fourth main event win of
2014 when the California Lightning Sprint Car Series
visited Perris Auto Speedway last Saturday night. The
victory propelled the 2012 series champ from fifth to
third in the championship standings.....(more).

FOR CALIFORNIA LIGHTNING SPRINT CAR ROOKIE OF THE YEAR
CA, June 10, 2014) To say the
California Lightning Sprint Car Series has been graced
by a great crop of rookies in the 2014 season is a
massive understatement. Three rookies, Corey Hoover,
Cori Andrews and Jeremey Queener, are locked into a
tight battle for the Rookie of the Year award and they
will next square off on the track this Saturday night,
June 14th, at the series home track, Perris Auto
Speedway. The USAC/CRA Sprint Cars, and PAS Senior &
Young Gun Sprints will also be appearing on the
quadruple header program. Spectator gates will open at
5:00 PM and the first race will be at 7:00.....(more).

Cori Andrews, a 15-teen year
high school student from Murrieta, California, became
the first rookie to win a California Lightning Sprint
main event in 2014 when she won the “Salute to Indy”
by nearly a half lap at Perris Auto Speedway last

in victory circler at the Bakersfield Speedway last
Saturday night in round #1 of the “North vs South
Civil War Series” pitting the California Lightning
Sprint Cars against the stars and cars of the Bay

2012 champion Bobby
Michnowicz became the first repeat winner of 2014 in
the California Lightning Sprints Car Series when he
scored a convincing win last Saturday night at Perris
Auto Speedway. The veteran star from Lomita will try
to back up that victor this Saturday night when the
CLS takes to the Bakersfield Speedway for round #1 of
the “North vs South Civil War Series,” matching the
CLS against Northern California’s BCRA......(more).
